world of beauty, magic, and the divine feminine.
In his show, "Light, Form, and Color - The Spiritual World of Arturo Garcia", the artist delights his followers with a brand new collection of portraits, still lifes, landscapes and his "signature" Madonnas, which collectors in United States and Mexico admire and pursue. Arturo's creativity combined with his outstanding technical talent makes his work truly unique, memorable and mythological.
Born in Puebla, Mexico (Mexico City), Arturo emerged as an award winning artist early in his life, focusing on Pre-Hispanic icons and designs that were incorporated into his early ceramic masterpieces. After graduating from Escuela National de Artes Plasticas (San Carlos, Mexico D.F.), Arturo began his career exhibiting in Puebla under the support and guidance of the celebrated Mexican author Carlos Mansivals.
After completing his studies, Arturo traveled to California, USA, with a determined desire to perfect his painting technique. In San Francisco he was accepted as disciple of David Hardy, recognized as premier US classical realism painter, and began working with the master artist at this Bay Area studio.
Almost immediately after Arturo's first exhibit in the USA one year ago at the International Village Gallery in San Francisco, CA., art collectors from North and Latin America recognized the value and uniqueness of his work and began to collect his paintings.
