He has participated in more than 100 collective and individual exhibitions, and has received several awards from his exhibitions in Peru. He received "First Prize" award on the Exposicion Nacional de las Escuelas de Bellas Artes del Peru on 1967, in Lima, Peru.
He is a founding member of the Art's Association "Vinatea Reinoso".
He enjoys paintings old churches, patios with flowers, little old houses up on the hill, and in remote places where he gets inspiration for his paintings. But, at the artist's desire, he brings his brushes and oils, and puts together vibrant, colorful, "touchable" works of art, like his "Watermelons".
"He is obsessed with lights, without strong colors, he manages to get the soft, wonderful, light effects on his paintings. Light is dispersed in his paintings like a shower of luminescent rays". (Marcelo Martinez Gomez).
His paintings are in private collections in Peru, Brazil, Canada, Israel, Japan, and United States.
